Front Desk Supervisor
The Sundial Beach Resort located on Sanibel Island is currently seeking a service minded professional to join our team as the Front Desk Supervisor. The main responsibility of a Front Desk Supervisor is to meet the needs of all guests staying and visiting the resort and supporting the Front Desk Agents.
Primary Responsibilities:
- All Essential Job Functions of a Front Desk Agent
- Supervise front desk operations in accordance with established guest service, quality and sustainability standards
- Train and support Front Desk Agents, ensuring they perform in accordance with established standards
- Lead the Front Desk Team while creating a work environment that promotes teamwork, recognition and mutual respect
- Resolve guest complaints and concerns by conducting thorough research of the situation and determining the most effective solutions
- Be aware of guest satisfaction scores and work toward increasing departmental and overall guest satisfaction
- Make and confirm reservations including Wholesale and OTA’ reservations
- Compute bills, collect payments, handles cash, and applies reservation changes for guests
- Inventory control and management
- Provides outstanding guest service
- Perform other duties as requested by management
- Complete accurately a resort informational document as requested by management
- Maintain cleanliness of Front Desk; Alert Management about the status of supplies to ensure that the front desk operates smoothly and efficiently Sundial Beach Resort and Spa is managed by Columbus Hospitality Management, a company committed to providing quality service and memorable guest experiences in a positive and welcoming work environment. Required Skills:
- Ability to work well under pressure of check-in/out of guests and handle multiple tasks at once
- Ability to perform assigned duties with attention to details, speed, accuracy, follow-through, courtesy, cooperativeness and work with minimum supervision
- Ability to use a variety of computer applications including PMS – System and MS Office
- Speak to guests in a warm, friendly and courteous manner
- Good organization skills
- Effective conflict management and decision-making is required.
- 2 years experiences at Hotel/Resort including previous supervisory experience.
- Associate or Bachelor Degree preferred
